You may have missed my earlier post about my difficulty getting out of admin in Win 10 without opening an MS Acct. Which I have no wish to do. Notwithstanding that, I have been particularly cautious in not downloading anything I did not vet first.
Assuming you login as shackeng at the moment .......
Disconnect from internet. - this stops the system trying to connect to MS all the time
Open control panel/users accounts
Make new account - eg Shackleton set this up as an admin account with a password.
Once set up restart system and log in as Shackleton using the admin password
Go to control panel/user accounts, manage another account, select "shackeng" and remove admin rights... set to "user" .. up to you if you use a password, set UAC.
reboot system and login as "shackeng" .. this is now your user account without admin rights..... should you try to do something that requires admin authority you will be prompted for the admin password.....
reconnect to internet.
AFAIK that should sort it all out .. it's what I've done for quite a few years and numerous systems, both family and clients
