If it was a mistake of some kind due to testing accidental release etc, hopefully if there is someone who knows what it was will come forward although it doesn’t look like it by now🙁🙁

I'd rate the chances of that as somewhere below zero. Bearing in mind that the first doctor in Wuhan to report actual cases was visited by the state police and warned about spreading such 'lies'. Can you imagine what would happen to any whistleblower, or the families of said whistleblower :-X.

Btw, that doctor carried on treating patients before dying of the disease himself.  :-\

I could buy that it came from a lab, but not that it was a deliberate release. If only because you wouldn't release it in your own back yard, or if you did you'd pick somewhere with better international connections.

There were at least four flights a day from China into Gatwick. Probably five times that to Heathrow, not to mention everywhere else in the world. Two people from Wuhan attended a meeting in Singapore and gave it to the bloke from Brighton who triggered the first outbreak in the Alps who had gone on a family skiing holiday within four days of the meeting and only sought medical help when he returned from skiing :-X

Ignoring the two families he directly infected in the semidetached chalet, there's the 400 people on his flight from Singapore plus the 380 people on the two EasyJet flights he took.

Pretty efficient delivery all things considered...  ::)

 ;D

In many ways it's surprising he didn't accidentally brutally cut his own head off while combing his hair.

Chinese people are state owned property with an illusion of reasonable civility.

Basically they are disposable.

Not aimed at anyone in particular....,.,,

First off the facts in question are that people are starting to look into this theory credibly. Sorry if that fact offends anyone, sorry if it has been reported by Fox News, but that does not stop it being a fact. We'll never know the real source, probably not, but it's important that credible evidence is coming out and being looked at simply as a matter of getting to the truth. Since this coronavirus started it has been nothing but lies, cover-ups and misinformation. China downplayed the severity, they lied that there was no human-to-human transmission, the WHO pushed those lies, we were all told "it's just the flu, bruh" and now people are continuing to push Chinese propaganda by continuing the discredited wet market theory and running defence for the Chinese by trying to smear people who want to investigate the chance that it originated from a biolab that was a) near by b) had been criticised over safety c) had the relevant bats and viri d) bats that were not indigenous to the area, as pushing "conspiracy theories".

Some people actually care about the truth and if that means the Chinese are at fault then they are at fault, but the media machine doesn't want to confront that because in this whole outbreak the most important thing to them is that no-one criticises the Chinese government but because that's wacist.

Look carefully at those articles....the one from Fox simply stated what was known without comment, the one from CNN and the BBC were filled with emotive, editorial opinions, as if they are dying to tell you "we have to report on this as it is our jobs but we're going to do everything we can to discredit these facts as they are ones that don't conform to our narrative".

This whole virus has highlighted how trash our society has become, from the media, the celebrities, the partisan politics....a massive spotlight has been shone on all of it.

All this is like asking who was to blame for the outbreak of the Great War? ; historians will argue that for centuries to come! ::)

Or who started the Spanish Flue outbreak?  Americans and some hens seem to commonly get the blame, but once again it will be argued by historians for centuries to come! ::)

I will not go into the Black Death, which seems to be a result of some kind black rats giving free passage to tiny fleas! :P :P

Now, thank God, however Coronavirus has been caused, it is unlikely to kill the many millions of the aforementioned events.

I just think it is now too important for the international community to fully work together to find the right treatments and save as many lives as possible. :y :y

The questions can come at a far later date, but do not expect any clear answers! ;)

The media pedal things as 'fact', when the only genuine fact is that this is little more than speculative opinion.

For example, a colleague of mine thought that a) Jonathan Pie is real, and b) the 'interview' with Lord Chesterton was an actual event.

Talking of the media...

Did anyone see the BBC story about the 'NHS Trust Boss' who phoned the BBC for the phone numbers of Burberry and Barbour?  ???  ::)

They later published a retraction and claimed that the 'NHS Trust Boss' was in fact someone who worked for a 'network of organisations' sourcing kit for NHS Trusts.  ::)

If this 'person' ever existed and did indeed phone the BBC, it just shows why the NHS is short of kit, as if they can't use Google or the Yellow Pages to find a UK phone number, how the hell are they going to find a supplier in China, Vietnam or somewhere like that!  ::)

Sigh...  >:(

There is a huge difference between a phone number to a receptionist/call centre and a phone number to the person who will actually help you!

True, the right person at the BBC to help with a spot of shit stirring.  :P  ::)

Finding out what the public 'wants to hear' can't be that important... Laura Kuntzenberg has had two days off this week.

Perhaps she has succumbed to Batflu...
