Too late for me. I only have 15 teeth left, which fortunately includes the front ones. I also cant wear NHS dentures. Gag reflex kicks in as soon as I put them near my mouth.
And no way am I spending £1500 on a set of good quality dentures. I could buy five Omegas for that !

My options were to try and persuade my boss that I needed flying back home and then hope my dentist could fit me in quickly or find a local dentist. 

I went for the latter, found a dentist in Bucharest and for about £20, she X-Rayed me, pulled the offending tooth, put a couple of stitches in, gave me a course of antibiotics and some nice painkillers, and sent me on my way with a check up appointment a week later.

Unfortunately when I went back for my checkup with a smile and a canoe in my pocket, she wasn't there and I saw some grumpy old bastard instead.

Some years ago I hg ad to have 4 removed in hospital under General anaesthetic.  I woke up.with bruises on my chest. Apparently there had to resort to grinding bone to remove them.

Start of last week I had what they suspected was a dental abscess, the dentist did a telephone consultation with me and prescribed some antibiotics. Fortunately these did the trick but I couldn't sleep properly for about 4 days.

I also established I'm even more of an irritable d!ckhead when I'm in pain. I came close to getting a free divorce alongside my dental care

Yes wisdom teeth can be buggers to extract and my worry was that she snapped it off. 

Luckily it came out, but not without quite a lot of effort.    I still have the tooth somewhere.
