Omega General Help / towing with omega (again, sorry)

Hi, thanks to all who replied last time, just a small question: I have taken my car onto the highway towing, and as stated by several members the temp went up to almost 90 after about ten miles, so I switched the a/c on and the temp came down, what I would like to know is this temp ok and would the auto fan click in and keep the temp down without using the a/c, I admit I did panic a bit and perhaps turned the a/c too quickly, I will have to travel 196 miles (Motorway next week and any assurance I can get will be much appreciated. cheers

thanks for reply, I have looked more closely and it appears to be only drops of water on the front glass. there appear to betwo nuts to undo and a rubber grommet to unhook, is there the same underneath the headlamp? i am worried in case i get the headlamp out and cannot get it back, as you have probably gathered i am not a mechanic....

hi,i have recently bought a 2.6 auto for towing, the previous owner has installed rear sensors and i was wondering if you good folk out there can give me any advice about how these will be affected when i fit a tow bar? would a removable one be any better than a fixed one will the sensors work anyway with a tow bar? thanking you in advance for all your comments and advice from previous queries

Omega General Help / special safety wheel nuts
« on: 03 February 2008, 10:12:46 »
hi, many thanks for alladvice, commments etc, about towing with my 2.6 auto.  I had a small problem driving home, about 7 miles from home developed a puncture, and could not change wheel as I could not loosen the security nut on the wheel, and to help matters the special socket to take this out appears not to match, I managed to get home ,my son brought my inflater out to me.    Are these special bolts a good thing or a hindrence, your comments would be appricated,
