BG is right, two of my cars have limited slips, which may or may not complicate things a bit more. So looking further into the future and  Boris the bullshitters green plan for us all, then some extra sound deadening on the boot floor and under the rear seat area, and a pair of ear defenders......job's a good 'un and money saved

I've punted my cars around local companies who do rebuilds but... I got the sharp intake of breath treatment, and was told that they didn't want a car clogging up their workshop space whilst waiting for non existent spares. So pardon me for breathing, and I'll  jog on and keep my hard earned in my Swiss bank account

Bit of guidance needed for the 3.2 saloon, I'm looking for the two centre sections and the back box, but all the usual ebay sellers have dropped off the radar. The only ones available are in Poland at the moment.....any ideas for a UK source? tia

Thanks BG, also I've managed to find a pre wired connector made of Chinese cheese, which  'should be' the answer to the problem only got to splice it in Nicks solution much more viable, as where the EGR was hidden has actually over time damaged the wiring.

As Dr G says, Victor Reinz are the way to go, I paid  less than £20 for a set and iirc they are OE for Mercedes

Thanks Al, panic over....Walkinshaws have them, I did send them an enquiry but hadn't heard anything back, so presumed that they didn't stock them. So thank you again for your efforts, we can always rely on you to come up with some useful info

I'm a bit stuck, looking for an Omron relay, part number 92181835. It's not for the Omega, but for the VXR8 boot release....the only ones I can find are in China and it's going to be three weeks delivery. I really need it quicker, as the car is due to go to a dealer this weekend to be sold. Any pointers as to where I might find one, would be much appreciated. TIA
