Hello
« on: 04 October 2006, 20:16:20 »

Taken a time to get involved, Yahoo Groups Omega Owners which was good is very low on support, a recent member of Autobahnstormers, driven Caltons and Omega's since the early 90's
Covered over 250,000 miles in mainly company Omega's 2.0, 2.5, 3.0 GLS, CDX, Elite, currently own a 1998 Omega 2.5 Elite with 102,000 miles,  had for 15 months covered 32,000 miles.
This site is very active with loads of good advise, Dr Omega must be about somewhere.

Welcome Richard. :)

I hope you enjoy it here.

I just want to make it clear though, We are not looking to empty the Yahoo group, or anywhere else.
The guys who set up the Yahoo forum did a good job, they are however, constrained by the software!
There are also some people there who prefer that layout, and to that end, it will continue. I still go in there every so often, and will contiinue to try and assist where I can.

It is a shame not to see the doc on here. He is both knowledgeable and entertaining!  ;)
If anyone has contact with him, please point him in this direction. He will be very welcome.

I have always found Yahoo groups very painfull to use, with the proliferation of bulletin boards and usenet I am surprised it is still going, TBH I think usenet is being killed off by ISPs.

There us definately a bigger audience here than anywhere else regarding these cars, I am just wondering when some Germans will pop in and say hello.
