V6 Coolant Leak
« on: 17 November 2012, 15:13:16 »

Noticed when replacing the timing belt signs of a slight coolant leak between the heads. Hoping it's from the thermostat housing but should I lift the oil cooler for a look also?

@Johnny. Thanks for links but have just fitted new coolant pump so pressure test is not an option.
@dbung. There are traces of coolant around both oil cooler & thermostat housing so will lift both to be sure.
Cheers.

Check out other potential leak points while you've got it stripped down  ;)

Leak was from plate over oil cooler. Fitted new thermostat whilst in there. Cheers for info. :y
