Hi guys. Hope you're all well.
Getting ready for taking my lovely Omega to Billing and there's only a couple of niggly things that I need to do. One of them is that the buttons on my drivers door window switch unit thingy are awful. Many years of having my filthy paws touching them.
Anyone got one with decent buttons, as close to new looking as possible; if possible 😄
Thanks boys

...it also has the wing mirror buttons on it too. I'm sure u lot know what I'm on about lol

Nls at hoof'land young bear. :'(
-
Strip it down and clean it ;)
-
Can't clean it. It's proper stained. Definitely want a nice shiny one to impress the folk at billing 😂
-
Nail varnish remover will take all the rubber crap off, pop the switch cover off to make it easier

Can't doesn't exist. You simply don't want to but haven't got a good reason not to do it :P

Might have a clean casing at home...
As you clearly need an incentive, how about £400 delivered ;)

Not that I have one for sale, but the poor people have ones with only front window switches, and normal people have ones with 4 windows switches.
So you need to clarify if your one of the poor people, or normal ;)
(IIRC, yours is a CD, which I think might be a poor mans model) ;D

Is it just GLS that's not got 'em then (ignoring silly non retail options)?

Sorry must have missed them in the midst of TB dissing my motors credentials 😂😂😂

Ok then kids. I pride myself on holding my hand up when I'm wrong. And today is no exception.
You all told me to clean it when I thought it was toast. Got it off the door and as suggested got some Autoglym interior jizm on it. And holy shit it's come back to life. It's clear that there's some nasty sticky coating that's absorbed all the crud and underneath it's as good as new. Finished off with a good wipe and a dash of trim restore and it's almost brand new.
I can't post images since photo buckets demise but if someone pm's me their email address I'll send the before and after pics if someone would care to upload them.
As always you are all legends. Thank you 😄😄😄😄😄😄😄
