I saw it in normal (not 3D) & i'm glad i didn't pay to see it.
I've yet to see a modern film that blows my socks off. Way too much CGI or what ever they call it.
I'm more old school, Dam Buster's, Battle of Britain etc :y :y

I really want to see it, its one of those films you really need to see at the big screen, rather than compressed download

I'm with you on that Pete, but last time I saw Dam Busters I really enjouyed the film right up to when the actually blew the Dam, it was pathetic by todays viewing standards, it looked really false.  So in the case of this film I wouldnt mind a bit of CGI even if just on the end of the film to make it more believable.

Both films I would have been happy to see over the festive period rather than some of the shite they have shown.

Trouble is now your not going to see a repeat of the old skool large scale films such as the Battle of Britan, CGI now is so good, its cheaper to go that route than getting working planes and such....

All i need is a bloody good story line to get me hooked, not CGI. A little is a good thing & i'd say it's used in most modern films.
"Across The Hall" is a cracker with a good story line & nice twist at the end. It's a simple plot with some thought behind it. Harry Brown is another i enjoyed.
The big block busters don't do much for me.
"The Day After Tomorrow" is just another let down with many more to mention.
