Christmas Present

Well Maria's main Christmas Present wasn't really something I could "wrap up", but I'm pretty sure I made the right choice.

On 23rd Jan, we are travelling first class to Stansted airport from Cardiff, where we fly to Ibiza - just the two of us.

We have 5 nights there, self catering - where I intend we eat out all of the time and experience all of the hidden local treats (we are already booked  for a nice sunday lunch ;) )

It will be very quiet there, most of the tourist stuff closed. We have a car, and will drive to the remote, romantic spots/beaches.... for some quality time together, something we have had little  of, for a while  :)

After 5 nights there, we fly to Amsterdam for the weekend,... where we  are visiting  friends who run a bar out there - always a scream, and great atmosphere.

Arriving at home on a Sunday, after 8 days away, almost in time to start a new job..  :y

I cannot wait for the break  :y

to be honest, we're concerned it may be a little too quiet.... EG dead.... but, we are at least going to try it  :y

Ibiza you want clubs full bore, sleeping on the beach all day toping up the tan...
Amsterdam some serious Space Cake on order, no wonder really you say "always a scream, and great atmosphere"

Enjoy but, watch out as the euro exchange rate is so shite things are a bit pricey!
