I make that an average of 43.83 mpg (@ £1.299 per litre, = just under 12 gallons for £70)!!!

My goodness, I would never dream of getting that in my 3.2, and I have never got that in any car I've ever owned!

If correct, well done :y :y

I think that I would have fallen asleep at the speed you must have been doing... About 40 in top would be my guess, and definitely a manual car...

20 MPG and I'm happy. :)
I get about 40 mpg from the trolley, 37 if I rag it...

I expect it's stablemate will struggle to better 20 or so on a run. Time will tell.

My BMW tells me I'll get about 600 miles on a tank, which it tells me works out at about 38mpg.  :y

The reality is about 480 miles on a tank, and doing a brim to brim mpg calculation, works out at about 33mpg.  :-\

Given that when I put my foot down I leave everyone behind in a cloud of smoke....  ;D. I wonder what the discrepancy between advertised emissions and actual are on my old German bus!  ::)  :-X

.

You've got a 40mph section alconbury to buckden approx 6miles, and bridge repairs at St neots so 1/2 mile,, those 30mph sections must be new, as I didn't see them,.. :o

There was a 40mph section around catterick couple weeks ago, on new A1m.

Typical Omega driver... Always 30 over the limit or 30 under it... In the middle lane.

No middle ground  ;D

It was near to Scots Courner. Info board 30mph said hazard in road but never saw a thing so don’t know how long it had been up. Went past a DVLA check point  think it was about 20 miles past the boarder.
