Right i have tried one of the wheels on my car and it fits although it has no tyre on it and have about 38 mm between rim and and strut. I have also found out that these rims fit the following: corsa c and d 2000 to present.  zafira 1999 to 2011.  astra g and h 5 stud 1998 to 2008.  combo van 2001 to 2010.  calibra 5 stud 1992 to 1997. meriva 5 stud 2003 to present.  vectra a b and c 5 stud 1993 to 2008. and signum 2003 to 2008. will have to get tyres fitted and see what they are like then. :y :)

I think the issue here is the offset, not the PCD; or to put it another way, how far do your rims stick out/sit inward from the lip fo the wheelarch.

Fitting the 'wrong' offset opinion on this varies from...

"you, sir, are worse than Savile"
to...
"ahhh,. be fiiine. "

I understand the offset  and the clearance and just need to fit tyres to see if it rubs the strut or wheel arch thanks :y
