Title: Facelift door
Post by: ...Matski... on 16 February 2011, 09:11:12
Hi all,

I had a dented passenger door on a 99 omega. I was wondering if a 2000 (facelift) door will fit as I think I've found one in the same color (z144 met gray)

Thanks in advance,
Matt.

Great thanks.

I take it it's just the mirror and card that are different? Presumably I could get the other mirror too?

You`ll have to swap your door loom over (easy enough) unless the donor door is from an Elite.

Thats grand I'll swap the guts out. Will the older loom work with the new style mirrors?

Lastly are the chrome trims possible to swap?

If you mean the bump strip.....the facelift is held on by a small torx either end & slides off, yours will be bonded on, will come off with time, patience & heat. Don`t forget to use your speaker as your`s being an Elite will probably have Bose. Mirror will work

Nice one thanks for your help.

Getting the trim off to refit looks tricky!
