I had a similar problem and tracked it down to the 'o' ring seal on the oil filler cap  ;)

Omega General Help / Re: front door micro switches
« on: 09 January 2018, 23:20:00 »
I took the door handle off again and checked the linking rod. It looked ok but I noticed it had a screw thread for adjustment. I unscewed it a few turns and refitted. The door now opens properly with the outside handle. Thanks for your suggestions which pointed me.in the right direction. :)

I've replaced the micro switches on the solenoid but still not able to open the door when unlocked. When using the key fob the solenoid operates lifting the button and locks with the button descending. The solenoid is working properly, all the rods are in place and connected. I can open the door only from the inside. Any ideas which bit is broken? :-\

When I turn the key or operate the fob I can hear the motors working. looks like I need to take the door card off again and check linkage to the solenoid, I have new switches so can change them at the same time. My bit of string attached to the inside handle is working at the moment :y

Omega General Help / front door micro switches
« on: 02 January 2018, 14:03:43 »
I need a bit of advise, when I unlock with either fob or with the key I can't open the front door. It can be opened with the handle inside. Which micro switches are the problem? Solenoid or on the back of the door lock? Thanks  :)

Omega General Help / Self leveling.
« on: 01 September 2017, 23:16:38 »
Hi, on my 3.2 Elite I am replacing the rear springs and shocks to the standard set up. As I will not need the level switch for the gas struts can I use this switch for the zenon lights as they are not working? Thanks :)

I have a leaking a rear shock but have air suspension. I have the usual soft Elite ride, can I fit standard springs with air shocks? Do I need to change both shocks or just the one that's leaked? Thanks  :)

Yes the multi plug at the back is plugged in. Would the engine run if this wasn't plugged in?

Omega General Help / EML

Need a bit of advice. Changed the thermostat on my 3.2, runs ok with no issues except I now have the warning light with the spanner, not flashing. Plugged in my Autel AL319 code reader and there aren't any codes stored, cleared codes but I still have the EML on. Any suggestions? Thanks.  :)

Omega General Help / low temperature
« on: 10 February 2017, 10:44:23 »
My 3.2 doesn't seem to be warming up, it only gets to about 80 deg after a 10mile trip. Is it just the thermostat or some thing else? Thanks  :)

Omega General Help / Bleeding nipples
« on: 23 October 2016, 21:52:34 »
I was bleeding the brake fluid and snapped off a nipple. Only managed to crack one open, the others are too tight and I didn't want to snap another one off! What's the best way to extract the broken one and free off the others. :-[ Thanks :y
