Why do peeps leave it to the last minute....

Got given a job earlier .... Marlborough to Bristol Airport....pickup ASAP....

Had to get fuel as I didn't have enough for the job....Marlborough is about 20mins trip from Swindon....after fuel stop....got there 25/30mins later....they were waiting outside with their cases  ::)
Got them onboard at about 9.45am.....I asked them what time their flight was....11.15am  :o ::)
That's pushing it tbh....I know the way obviously....but I used google maps to do the route for me....it didn't use the route I would have picked, seeing it was sat before crimbo.....but google reckoned its route was 1hr 10mins....so I went for the google route.

I dropped them off 1hr 10mins later  :o

Probably easyjet flight....so if they made check in....it would have been a miracle (assuming easyjet close the checkin  20mins before departure)

Bonus was, my office called me on route and gave me a 12.00 Bristol airport to Swindon return  :y :)

Got a brother like that, either misses flights or books the wrong way!?

Guy down the pub, holidaying in the Canaries, turns up to reception the day after his coach to the airport departed.

They live among us.

Several years ago my sister wanted a lift to the airport.

She was still in the bath in Leamington 1 hour before take off in Luton :o.  I have my GTE at the time, apart from about 3 miles when I attracted the attention of PC Plod, it was on the rev limiter in top gear all the way.

She made the flight :o (although it was slightly delayed).

Even now, she is still the same.

I turned up for a Job interview in Cambridge a day early...... ::) ::) :-[
I told they why I had arrived and even showed the the letter, to prove my interview, they read it and mentioned my mistake......... :-[ :-[ :-[

So, the next day, I went for the interview, it had been noted.......... :'( that I had arrived 24 hours early, tuned it to my advantage and got the Job, which I later turned down; this was in 1998, seems just like yesterday............... ::) ::)

Ive missed more flights than I care to remember if Im honest.

Although the 4 days to get to Hong Kong a few years back wasn't my fault.  ;D
