I think it may be that rubber bit that is attached to the bottom of the front bumper from her description...

She made it home about an hour ago :y

Haven't been out to check, too busy with a chicken madras...

Rather worryingly, she has said she put a bit of bumper trim in the boot  :o

Low coolant.....no probs.....unless it was on the max mark before she set out.....mine leaks a tad too

EML.... :-/ She broke it  :y
I guess I should have checked the coolant level before I sent her out ::)

That conversation did sound worrying, just like the expression on your face.

Have you had her check the coolant?

Im thinking you and tunnie will be doing head gaskets together soon ;)

you should at least have plenty of coolant in  stock for the tractor ;)
Yes, the coolant is a little low.

Plenty of coolant between Tunnie and I ;)

As most will know, I sent her off to Great Yarmouth in the MV6 this weekend.  Don't tell her, but I knew the battery was suspect, so I packed the jump leads just in case...

Every time she rang whilst I was at Wales meet, I always wondered if it was to say battery flat.  The battery has held up well, but she rang this morning to say the EML was on, and she had a Coolant Level warning on the dash  :o

Well I use removable media and I haven't lost any data apart from breaking one MD accidentally.

And it is easy to get records on!

Without going into technical details, those of you who may remember my post with regards to what I carry in the boot (to recap fire extinguisher, hi-viz jacket, several torches, first aid kit, spare bulb kit, jump leads, tools, cable ties, portable tyre pump, etc etc etc), can imagine my approach to data backup. No, I havn't lost a single file in the past 10 years... and yes, my simcard and contacts are also backup up. Regularly I may add...  ;D

I had a reasonable backup solution to files, though getting dated.

I now have an excellent one :y

One of my responsibilities at work is the backup of our servers, someone once said to me priority for backups is:-

1) All Directors and Managers data
2) Anything to do with incoming money
3) Anything you can use later on (True BOFH style - those in the know will know who I mean)
4) User data

Still enters my head when we have a backup failure on one of the robotic libraries.  ;D

LOL - I remember one of our bigger libraries (70 odd LTO2 drives, thousands of tapes) started smoking one day....   ....talking about panic to get the tapes out before it burned (fortunately it didn't catch fire).

For some unknown reason my Ipod has reflashed itself ( some techies at works terminology) meaning ive lost everything apart from the last 4 DJ mixes i downloaded on Saturday. I have two years of music on this. Or had.

And the reason this transpired at work is due to attempting to put some music on as our dialler system has an outage with resolve time - ?unknown?

Means i have 100 staff sitting about not doing anything...

Grrrrrrrr >:(
Precisely why I refuse to have an Ipod - the DRM implementation means that the slightest glitch on Apple's servers equals Game Over.

Hence I stick to standard MP3/WMA players, and keep my collections on a hard disk...

Shame I couldn't stay for the group pic  :( but at least I got my heating sorted  :y
And how was that fixed then Bo Bo ;
It was either a) The same way my fogs were fixed, or b) Timbuk's rule #1 and Mark's bible like EP.

Speaking of, did Pete & Mrs. EP scarper in the middle of the night?  Don't remember seeing them this morning.
They left early, just after I got up.  He said he had to go before someone disabled his car again  ::)

Ford Orion Ghias used to have them in the 80s.  Never worked that well, as the shape of the screen is all wrong for wiper.

The wipers are fitted to estates/hackbacks to remove dirt and grime which this shape car (esp the steeper rear designs) attracts.

From someone who this time last year couldn't change the oil?  You do not give yourself enough credit...
