Hi guys,

Can anyone tell me where the speaker is positioned
in a omega estate for the rear park sensors please

Yep.    I seem to recall that I removed both grab handles on that side and popped the trim off to give better access to under the headlining. If you need to know how the trim comes off just ask.

Carefully

Hoik out seat base.
Fold left seat back forward.
Remove the rear left grab handle and both luggage net covers.
Pop out Upper Trim Panel from tailgate opening.
Pop out the cover from the top of the B Post and remove screw.
Undo seat belt from C post.
Pop screw cover off D Post and remove screw.
Remove screws from left hand luggage cover and lift away.
Unscrew lower trim from C Post.
Unscrew screw from bottom of D Post.
Lift away C Post trim followed by D Post trim.
If you need to drop the headlining slightly, then pop out the square clips from the centre. If that's not enough, then repeat all the above to free up the other side.

Failing all that palaver cable tie an old tweeter behind the nsr light cluster cover, and find the wires that feed the speaker as they exit the control unit that lurks there.

So that the old cable can rattle away...

That lot sounds complicated, but in reality takes less than an hour start to finish and in order to remove the upper trim you have to start at the lower trim... Which means pulling the seat base 

You can skip some bits if you know what you're doing, but as I don't know the OPs Omega experience, that's the whole job

Rattle? I’ll let you know when it starts, but after 4 years so far I think it’s settled somewhere quiet.

Mind you, I’ve normally a set of golf clubs and other random ballast in the boot so who knows

Nice to give someone an alternative option surely, especially as they, like me, might not relish disturbing trim and the potential for eternal rattles and squeaks that might bring.
