As above, finally fitted ccr800 bose system into my car. Everything seems to be working but can't work out how to input the cd changer code. The audio manual i've got doesn't cover models with cd changers! Any help, much appreciated!!

as above. car is off the road at the moment and i'm doing a few upgrades (its a gls). I had to change the battery because it had been stood for a while and gone flat. I've put rear electric windows in, and started putting a bose sound system in. i've moved the tc button onto the main row of switches (sat nav on way soon hopefully), and i've wired in a rear blind. I've not been anywhere near the sunroof wiring, and can't work out which fuse it runs off? any ideas??

Hey, just tried putting the cdr500 out of my mig in my mk3 astra and all works except nothing comes up on the display. Tried it back in the mig and definately works fine on that display. the original car300 back in the astra works the display fine... am i missing something obvious here or does the cdr500 just not work the astra disply fullstop?

I've got a '97 gls with the 2 button type fob that doesn't work. Would it be possible to swap some stuff over from my '99 estate that i'm breaking and use the newer style key integrated fob from that? if so which parts need to be swapped over? any advice would be much appreciated!

Hi, i'm picking up my facelift omega this weekend and want to put a vauxhall headunit back in it (cheap aftermarket fitted at mo). which ones fit, and which one is the best to go for? any thoughts, much appreciated.

Omega General Help / Clutch & Dual Mass flywheel

my '97 2.5 v6 needs a new clutch after getting extremely hot whilst towing up steep hills and getting lots of slipping. It doesn't slip now but is difficult to get into gear. Whats the liklihood the dmf will need replacing and the slave cylinder? all the parts seem very expensive wherever I've looked...  :-/

Omega General Help / 1997 2.5 v6 pulling to the right

as above... under heavy braking at high speeds. Pulls quite sharply to the right. plan to check callipers aren't sticking and bleed them. any other ideas what might cause this?

hey, have just got a 2000 mv6 estate. when i start it up theres a whiring noise coming fom somewhere under the bonnet (sounds like a pump of some sort) that stops after a minute or so. Was just wondering what it is?

Omega General Help / Hot start probs on 2.5 TD

Hi, my father-in-law has got a 2000 omega 2.5TD. It starts fine from cold but takes ages to fire up when warm. It runs fine when its got goin tho. The previous owner tried to sort it by puttin a new in-tank pump on it. And my father-in-law had someone out to it that did an upgrade or something on the ecu, but still not sorted.
any ideas???

Lpg kit taken off a '99 mini f/l 2.0. Was in full working order before removal. Tank is full. The only problem is when being removed the plastic plug that goes into the back of the dash switch broke and came off (but all 4 spade connectors are intact) so whoever fits it will have to work out what order they go onto the switch. Looking for £400.
