CCR800 ?

Hold fire before you send it back as someone will probably be along shortly with details of the changer you need, just in case it is this one - I`ve only seen that connected to an SC804 myself..

 ;)

Yes i agree, that is for SC804

I had the same problem when i had the GLS, I think some GLS's and CD's have a basic harness, it was more trouble than it was worth in the end.

Just further questions to this thread.
If I do change my head unit......
I have all the relevent documents with the car except the radio code and car pass whatever that is?
Will my local Vauxhall dealer be able to provide this info (is it on their database) I do use them for servicing so would they help me, and would they charge me loads of ££££s for doing so.
Would it be better to get it decoded elsewhere?

Mick

Take your log book and they can order you one, anywhere between £15-40 depending on stealer

Hi Timbuk, I beleive there are 2 different models of CDC2, one which works with the CCRT700, and one that works with all other head units, ie: CCR600/800, and it appears that they are not compatible.
They are differentiated by the last two letters on the model designation, but can't remember what they are  :-[
(might be worth checking all three units you have for different lettering?)

Dave DND will probably be along shortly to explain.

(I only know because I bought a CCR600, and needed a CDC2 to match, and someone told me) ::)

Dodger.

Yup, thanks for that, have stated they are not compatible, just proving there is power to the rear of the car. I actually have 3 here all with different part numbers. CCR600 ones power up, CCRT700 is the one that is dead

Omega Electrical and Audio Help / Dead CDC2
« on: 04 October 2008, 14:57:26 »

I have a completely dead cdc2, was wondering if there was a fuse inside the unit but have discovered there is not. I have another 2 cdc2's in the garage, when i plug these in they both power up which proves there is power to the rear of the car, however these are not compatible with the CCRT700 which is fitted so it still displays no cdc on the head unit. Anything else i can try or is it time fo the bin?

Do you have traffic master?

Yup CDR500 can work with a TID as per Astra, Corsa and Vectra which it was also fitted to.

Done it myself on a GLS, straight swop, no probs  ;)
