I'm not a chemist, but as I understand it, the base of oil never deteriorates - as Andy said, it is THAT old - but in service it absorbs pollutants and water until it can absorb no more or turns abrasive, and also the additives die out. Therefore if your stored oil has never been in service, none of the above will take place.....

I remember those - a way of getting round the engine capacity restrictions for learners. And no fears of the chair lifting on left-handers as mine did on my first ride out!

Without Microsoft's support, your PC will be vulnerable to hackers and other wrongdoers, so I would recommend that you try to find back issues of the magazine, possibly at your local library.

A while ago I had my brakes done at Kwik-Fit and they offer a lifetime guarantee, i.e. free replacement forever. What are the economics of this deal: do they honour it regardless or is there "small print", and if it's genuine, what's in it for them?
