Paint
« on: 27 July 2006, 22:54:15 »

I need a front bumper and OSF wing for my Omega, the chances of finding another in the same color (its called Prestige Blue, but judge for yourself http://i52.photobucket.com/albums/g38/harmonye/000_0161.jpg) are very slim.

So, do Vx (or any other automotive paint supplier) have this, or can get this color.

Thanks

Talking top-of-my-head here, and bollock naked (you really didn't need to know that) at the moment so not going to check - but I thought VX put a paint code on the VIN plate - certainly did on the Cavalier and I used that in a auto shop to buy the right can of touch-up.

Would you not be better taking a removeable piece, to one of these professional paint shops and getting them to match to the exact colour, rather than a paint code. If your motor is a few years old then the paint will have no doubt faded slightly.
I am led to believe that where you live can make a big difference as to how much colour change there is!!
