Title: Central locking playing up.

Hi , slight problem with the 2.2, used the remote as usual to lock it, it then unlocked straight away tried again & same thing happened..  but drivers door stayed locked so unlocked drivers door with key & then locked car with key.Used remote again all opened except drivers door any ideas where the problem is ?

Shame yr not closer. Another oofer local to me showed me how to change the door locks and solenoids on mine recently. If you were closer, I could of helped you do yours :-\

Although I did help Blackviper with the Torx tools, he'd pretty much stripped the door card out and got to the mechanism before I'd got my tool set out! If you decide to replace it yourself, the Torx socket bit required for the bolts in the door (3 of around the lock in the door frame) is a T40...is on mine & Blackviper's. There are some 'clip over' plastic fittings for the connecting rods so it is a good idea to note what clips where before pulling the old unit out.

Thanks for the offer, but yes too far will have a look at it in the spring too dark & damp at the moment..

Think door handle was 10mm socket  :y dead easy job

They are usually 10-15 quid from the breakers, I had a load but inadvertently fried them all whilst testing them :-[
