Chap in my team has E250 CDI on a 14 or 15 plate I think, he borrowed my code reader as had fault light. Turns out Nox sensor was on the blink, Merc dealer confirmed this.

They emptied his wallet fixed it for him, at a cost of £650.

For one sensor  :o

Apparently the part alone was £400  :-\

Puts me off a CLS as replacement for the 3.2  :(

but you'd be buying a CLS350 ..... surely?  ::)

If only a CLS350 Shooting brake Estate was heavy enough (and a bit) to tow an 1865kg caravan I'd buy one. (pre iPad glued to the dash though  ;))

Yeah the 2012/13 vintage ones, interior looks really nice.

Display set in the dash, not on it.

Trouble is, I think all their cars have succumbed to having an iPad stuck to the dash, even the high end GT ....  you don't need to design anything. I was in a Citroen dealers .... I was lost  ::) .... and the C4 had just two screens, one in the middle & one for the speedo in front of the driver. How little effort was required to dream that up?

When you find something fitted to a shitroen you know it's because it's the cheapest, tackiest way of doing the job.  ;)

Which is a shame given Citroen' s history before PSA. The proper DS was way before it's time.

People will doubtless think me mad, but I still maintain the SM is one of the coolest card money can buy.  :-*

I agree .... though they had their fair share of problems even when new. Other than museums & shows I've only ever seen a handful of them.

Yep, me too, and it's the only shitroen I'd give garage space to. At least the troublesome technology in that was created trying to do something new and revolutionary, rather than in participation in a race to the bottom of cost and quality.

Yup, think I've only ever seen one on the road, and that way queuing to get into the le mans classic. So hardly a typical situation. Seems they're about £35-75k ATM.

I parked next to one in a car park in Bridport a couple of months back.
