Decisions, decisions
« on: 03 October 2012, 00:55:51 »

Clutch has started slipping noticably today :'(
I need transport for interviews/getting to work etc, and am hopefully to aquire my next longterm car imminently, but no fixed date yet :-\ my current car will probably be scrapped when, or shortly after the new one arrives.

Do I:

1. Replace the clutch £500.
2.  Buy a temporary replacement.
3.  Drive the car until the clutch fails completely, hoping I can take delivery of the permanent replacement before it leaves me stranded.

Given the other, long term issues you've been having I'd be reluctant to pay out for the clutch :-\

Going to look at a car today for a potential stopgap :-\ hopefully I'll be able to recoup most of the purchase costs by selling when the replacement turns up... though, knowing my luck that will be thursday ::)
