Omega Electrical and Audio Help / Electrical gremlins!!

My omega elite f/l is starting to do my head!!
So the auto box crapped itself first! Then, possibly coincidentally, it has developed electrical gremlins, one day whilst sitting listening to the radio, I tried to start the car and I lost the radio and the instrument panel. After about ten minutes of panicking and pulling fuses in and out, I decided to try and start it again and everything was working.
Driving home from work last night, listening to the radio, heated rear window on, ecc on auto and obviously the headlights on, everything went dark, no lights, no radio, no instrument panel. After blindly fumbling in the dark i discovered one of the BIG fuses had popped, the main electrical system fuse (80amp) had pretty much melted itself in oblivion!!
Anyone have any ideas or suffered from a similar fate?

General Car Chat / Some lazy mechanics!!

So yesterday I decided I would change the spark plugs on my 2.5 mig, pulled the three out of the right bank, all NGK r's then went to the more difficult left bank and they were all old manky looking GM plugs! It seems to me like only the right bank was done as it was too much hassle to do the left bank!!! Lazy barstewards!!!

Ok so I have discovered that the servo motor on the drivers side of the heater box does not seem to be moving at all when I adjust the temperature, what is most likely to be at fault, the servo itself or the control panel?
Also, if its the servo where can I get one? (I don't have enough posts yet to put a wanted thread up LOL)

General Car Chat / Auto box problem!!

So there I was happily driving along on Thursday when the engine suddenly seemed to be bouncing up and down the revs all by itself!! Like it was trying to find a gear.
I nursed it home jacked it up and it seemed a little low on gearbox oil (don't worry I checked the level with the engine running), so I topped it up.
Took it out for a drive and it decided it would dump all of the oil out through the breather pipe!!
I left it in with a guy I know who fixes Vauxhalls and he threw a replacement auto box in for £300 including fitting and she seems to be as ggod as new!
ANyone else have a similar problem?

. . . . . on my f/l omega elite, the memory and the adjusters work, just the heating element doesn't seem to come on. What's the most likely causes?

Omega General Help / F/L Elite heating issues?

So my F/L elite is blowing out heat from the drivers side and cold air from the passenger side. I have checked the motor as directed by some other guys on here and it seems to be operating, certainly from the motor side, arm connected to the motor and it moves when swicth on or off, but no change to the temps 
Anyone help?

My 3.0l est was a 2.5 Auto originally and was changed to a 3.0l manual before I took ownership. About 3 weeks after I got it the reverse lights kept poppoing a fuse, so I did the naughty and fitted a heavier duty fuse and now I have no reverse lights at all. The bulbs are fine, but I havent tested the switch yet.
Also, not that I believe it is linked, but I fitted a leather interior and now the drivers front seat seems to pop fuse 14 after the seat has been on for a while.
Can anyone help?
