Fly spray.
« on: 26 May 2015, 11:36:25 »

Has anyone noticed that  commercial fly spray in aerosol form is far from effective?

On average, it probably takes half a dozen applications until your average fly meets it's maker.

Well.....I have the solution in the form of WD40.

One quick squirt and just about any variety of house fly instantly drops like a stone.

Job done. :y

Nothing is perfect though and Mrs Opti is now moaning about the state of the sofa and curtains.

Women. :-\ :-X

Try creosote in the spray. There will be some old creosote in the shed and use Mrs Optis ironing spray. Very effective though can be messy.

Simply point out that the curtains now run a lot more smoothly across the rail, and that tthe sofa now has no traces of chewing gum stuck to it...

One of those high voltage zappers from poundland or 99p stores are much more fun - the little buggers often explode with a satisfying "bang"!
