removable towbar question

i have got a removable towbar fitted to my car but the removable section is the wrong one i know its not the best photo but has anyone got any idea what make of bar i have ?

I would be interested too. My mate has just bought a Rchav 4 with an unidentified towbar fitted. It just has the two vertical flanges similar to your picture visible. He needs a ball to fit on it.

The Bosal swan neck that had been on my Omega was like that. I only used the towbar occasionally then, so used to unbolt mine leaving the two flanges that you describe.
Probably easier in both instances to remove what's already there, weigh it in, & put the money towards another/new towbar.  :-\ :-\

yes   towsure - I have one myself

edit: maybe I was quick off the mark - mine does not foul the bumper lik that, but the fitting does look very similar

I have a towsure one. It is a round fitting but the outer section is square, I wonder if they changed them during the production.

On a side note I hate removeable ones,especially if raining orwet on ground  >:(

That's where your old Hi-Viz jacket opened out on the ground comes in handy.  ;) ;) ;)

LOL, I new there had to be a reason for hi viz jackets  :y
