Omega General Help / Air con condenser help pls

Hi all , just went to have the old girl re-gassed by the aircon man who lives oppositte , and he tells me my condenser is leaking . We have had to do a top up for the past 2 and a bit years , so my question is , is it easy to fix , rough cost , does anyone have a used part I can buy , or shall I just open the windows and sunroof , I have to be honest , the engine is 100% I have the refitted autobox from Rob , ( last week ) which is 100% and I dont want to keep throwing money at it . Answers pls would be much appreciatted as normal , pls keep it in laymans terms though as you know I am no mechanic

Hi Steve , sorry to hear your having problems . ( what that noise really means is you must sell the car to me , for say £100 and the noise will then go away  ) ....hope you get it sorted mate , it is still one of the nicest migs I have seen .

well I always call andyc at drive in bury St edmnuds so I've never had a problem like that. 

if only all parts guys were as helpful as andy then you wouldn't need to check up on them....

Any chance you could PM Andy's number please I have to purchase some things next week , and have not used the card before , so don't know what to expect bill wise. OR can someone pls give me the link to a / the site where the prices are shown. Many thanks

Hiya,
I had problems with my 2.5 Elite until I changed all of them for Michelin Pilot Primacy's. Now it is quiet, sticks to the road like shit to blanket and is a far more comfortable ride at the rec tyre pressures of 31 all round. Bonus is that they are hard wearing too!
Remember that you will only get what you pay for and cheap tyres on a performance motor is a bad move.

I have to agree with the Mitchelins , the Migs are high performance cars , no good having the power if you cant stop when you need to , just my opinion .

Hi all , I have had the autobox changed by the garage , they must have had to disconnect the battery as I had to re enter the radio / cd codes, which I have done. But when I locked up the car earlier , it locked via the keyfob , I then pressed it again to dead lock it and nothing happened ? Any ideas please ?

Check fluid level again & as you move from park through other gears only gear selected should light up next to lever
