Cars for Sale & wanted / 02 3.2 Elite Possibly for Sale

Hi all
It looks like ill have to think of letting my Beloved Elite go as it doesnt get used too much these days Thurs to tescos and back
Its in very good condition Nocturno Blue black leather all elecs are all operating like they should i had the lasers replaced in the sat/nav/Cdplayer last year which is working perfectly 2 major jobs have been done also last year A leaking oil pump and cam belt replaced by Daz its done 118 k but runs lovely ive just got to have my personal plate taken of it that im going to give to my son.
Im just feeling the water so to speak as that will take a fortnight or so to get changed over it was on a 52 plate i was thinking of about 1500 ono
just a thought i might add, it may go on egay in next fortnight or so

Hi all
Probably daft question i need to change a bulb in overhead  interior light but not sure how it comes out
what size is it does it push and turn or is it capless
dealer says it a festoon bulb but it def is a normal bulb but a smallish head

Do they give better light
How does the delay system stand up as they are small wattage

Omega General Help / Self Leveling suspension

Hi all
Hope someone can help I noticed today that my car was very high at the rear it looked just like a wedge on the road. I had took it for its Mot and the lad did say "My that looks a bit high at the Rear" I had not noticed it before but when i was coming home from my daughter the other evening i  i thought the car was not running with its usual straight leveled feeling. It cant be the pump as its pumped right up i asked the garage but he just looked into my face and curled his lip obviosly not a clue . I wondered if it was the rear sensor but its not moving at all, and the car as not gone down yet 4hrs after i parked up.
I hope someone can tell me  whats wrong and if its going to be expensive Knowing my luck ide say it is

hi i am running the 2008 version on my car and have seen a 2010 version disk .do i require a seperate disk with the software or will the uk disk go straight on i seem to recall something about a extra disk needed

Omega Electrical and Audio Help / Day time running Lights

Hi
I know its been discussed at length but my elite as led side lights in that was in when i got it,
I seem to think someone on forum said all it needs is a relay and a fuse in F8 to activate it.
I looked at F8 but a normal fuse will not go in as its socket is different to the others. I know there are aftermarket kits but to be honest they look like xmas trees coming down the road too garish for me. So i did think if it was possible to hook up a ign controled supply to the side lights if that would work of course. Anyone got any thoughts on this,

My Sat Nav Disc keeps ejecting and Display says "Please insert CD Label up" and it is like that it used to do it odd times but these cold mornings its doing it all the time i have heard that they can be troublesome. I am hoping its just cold related because if i hold the disc to the heater outlet it then seems to work as anyone had this problem and can they be repaired

Hi all
My unit keeps throwing the sat nav disc out and asking for it to "Please insert Disc Label side up"it does eventually work after umpteen reinserts. I contacted a firm in Germany who said they can repair it for 210 euro and i would like to do this but they said must be deactivated. I did contact Dave on Forum who indeed confirmed it as to be depaired before taking it out repaired before putting it back in with tech2 is any one in my area that as tech2 as it will be 60 notes each time i suspect or (is there a way round this ) i nearly took it out other day so that would have rendered it useless if i got the info correct

Hi as anyone thought or done a conversion to fit aftermarket DTLs as there is a lot of hype about them and they become legal for 2011 i think they look pretty cool but not sure how to go about it just a thought guys

Iv got a Elite 3.2 2002 just recently purchased and very pleased with it few probs but all but sorted but one prob got me beat well not really a problem the book for the sat nav says how to do the TMC channel but it comes up on the display but is dimmed out so obviously not working however i had a look on the disc on the pc and one og the config files like a INI file

Dyna = 0
wich means not operatinal as any one tried changing it to 1 as if so that should enable TMC i think
i do do a bit of programming on PC and have experience of INI/CONFIG  files but i dont know if it will damage summat on the sat nav unit are the upgrades better as there is a 2007/08 out and may have  the INI file reconfigured

There is also a Dynamic Route on the display and that is greyed  out

Hi i have sourced a Amp and parcel shelf with the bose Speakers but i am now after the loom from the drivers kickwell to the rear amp as any one got one laying around or breaking a Elite mine is a 1998 2.5 CDX TIA

Omega General Help / Emission light Lit

hi all
My emmision light as come on a few times over last fortnight i have got it of with my maxscan but something must be amiss
it said 0430 and o431 ithought it might have been the maf. Today it came on again so i read the data it is limited with this maxscan but these are the results
Engine stood
Maf lb/Min 0.198

Emgine running
Maf Ib/min 0.628
02 Bank1  Sensor1     0.430
o2 Bank 1 Sensor2     0.575
o2 Bank2 sensor 1       0.430
o2 bank sensor    2      0.575

it only seems to light when im going steady 50mph but even with light on it still runs perfectly it as run brilliant since last october when DLK worked his magic on it ( i think he must av tweaked the HyperDrive on it) ha ha Star wars term
