Central locking won't re-set
« on: 30 October 2016, 09:19:36 »

Ok . . . following on from strange goings on with the rear window operation  . .

Had this car a few weeks now & locking from the fob has always worked fine :y

However deadlocking did not or neither did the central locking re-set  ( doors closed key in at position II & push lock or open )  See below as deadlocking now fixed

Any ideas where to start on this .

Was hoping that as the puddle light pin switch problem has fixed the rear window issue
( see other thread "Strange rear window fault" ) & the dead locking that it may have fixed the re-set of CL as well but no joy  . . .still won't re-set  :'( :'(    :y

Any advice where to look on this one please?

Edit:  unless of course the re -set will only work if it needs doing ,as in not locking from the fob . . ::) ::)      if thats the case plenty of these :-[ :-[ :-[ :-[ :-[ :-[ :-[ :-[ :-[ LOL!

I dont know if this would help but when i was looking round for my problem, I found a pic of a central locking unit that had water in the socket. ( all green on connectors ) and is problem was around the same fault as yours.  shaw it said it was water getting in somewhere on the side. hope this helps.
