Fitted one seat and seat runner, sat in it and made brum noises ;D
Ahh, yes. I remember doing that. :D

It was quite momentous, complete with working pedals (well, nothing attached to the throttle pedal, sadly ;D). Shame I'd taken the steering column out in order to get at some other stuff!

(And yes, I am still a snug fit, despite being almost 6st down ;D)

Pax seat should go in today, then the shells can go off to be trimmed. Column back in, then windscreen washers, heater and wiring loom. That last one might be a big job as I only have a 'universal' loom which seems to resemble some kind of stringy torture device!

Indeed. :y I'm sure that's made a noticeable improvement to your power-to-weight ratio. ;)

Over Eastern I replaced timing belt, water pump ect.

Removed the camshafts and replaced the hydros.

Engine is running great again.

Yesterday I found a MV6 on a scrape yard. Some Irmscher parts for very, very low budget.  :)

Some parts I bought....

Next time one of you are passing, feel free to demonstrate your knack for doing it ;)

No problem. I managed to lift my HiLux wheels ok  ;)

Mind you, I don’t need to jack that a million miles in the air ::)
