I've one of those on my facelift . It looks just as good on yours  :y great fit and I think you'll find they are powder coated so should be more robust than paint.
What's next then ?

Hopfully a nice set of alloys and lowered suspension is next, but my plans for it never seem to go to plan so I'll have to see.

Yep This Was one of the First Mods I did to my FaceLift I got mine off ebay from Germany also paid about 36 quid for it
Word Of warning for light paint owners who are thinking of doing this
Mine is silver star II in colour and when i first put the grill on it looked rubbish as you could see all the silver paint behind it. So as a test i used very strong mat black gaffer tape from work to see if it looked ok dark before thinking for spraying it. And Ohhhh yeah it look a 1000 times better with mat black behind it. ill get around to spraying it one day the gaffer tape is still one and stuck fast  ;D ;D

I have just purchased an Irmscher back box from Germany, I want to pay the guy but all his bank details came in German, I know us british are ignorant when it comes to European Languages, but I have asked him to send it in English if possible to no avail.

If you PM Crazydad, he offered to do German translation in a post a few days ago as he lives over there.
