Something Different
« on: 12 October 2006, 13:55:28 »

Well here she is in all her glory, little bit of fact about her:
Make: Vauxhall
Model: Astra mk3 Phase 2
Year: N 1996
Engine: 1.4 8V Spi
Mileage: 96K
Spec: LS, meaning its got nothing decent
History: Well has 1 previous owners. Was a Disability car back in 1996 when it came off the producion line and was given back to the main dealer in 1999 with only 7K on the clock. This is when my father ( stu ) bought the car and has kept it ever since :) To which I will be acuiring when i'm 17 as my 1st car. The car has also been featured on the Meguiars UK website in the Shinning Stars Gallery.

Pictures :

Exterior

Engine Bay, That Is all currently being polished by hand

Interior

The plan:
My plans for the Astra when I become the legal owner when i'm 17 will be lower it by 40mm ( already have the springs ready ) with Koni Adjustable dampers. 5 Stud conversion with Tarox Track day kit ( 330mm discs with 10 pot calipers ) Also full roll cage. This is so I can be assured that the car will handle when i place a C25XE or maybe even a C30XE or C32XE engine in.

All Comments and advice welcome
Thanks for your time

A good car to start you off with Matt, shouldn't be too horrendous to insure, and you know it's been well looked after :y Better start saving for an Omega now ;)
