General Car Chat / Re: Plastic trim parts
« on: 20 June 2017, 23:59:45 »
lets be honest not many people want omegas anymore and those about are keeping parts---I glad i got rid of mine as parts are stupidly priced comared to my 940 --cam belt kit £40 better than v6 anyday-

They do, I would consider a mint Estate in either facelift or even mini-facelift trim. Trouble is now, all examples for sale are really rough.

not worth anything I put mv6 bumpers and side trim in mine for sale along with one off angel eye headlights and lpg kit--had one interested but couldnt get space the other was a complete waster so ended up getting £145 for it as scrap--still hope you do get someone interested who actually will do something than waste your time tbh

It was not in the best condition though, I think there is a market for mint exterior trim panels to fix car park hits. Second hand LPG is generally worthless, not matter what it is fitted to, tanks after 10 years can't be certified and often its far better to buy a new kit.
as said new trim in car and lpg fitted 2012 and tank changed to smaller one in 2014 so not 10 years old --Thought it was a bargain but all things being equal nobody wants thirsty expensive cars now--plus scrappage scheme wont help situation regarding old cars--look how many classics lost last time

I think that whatever happens we the people will be told what we are having as we seem to be treated like children with over protective parents in this country

Having driven a BMW m235i a few times, I could disagree with the that statement on the back  ;D

Looks like a good work horse though, fewer of those about than Omega.  :)
I live near BMW MINI and nearly every car is a bmw on the lease scheme -thats why  ;D
