What a week..
« on: 27 March 2019, 17:31:21 »

Hot on the heels of being shunted up the rear of the MINI, followed by two very long days travelling around the country - one day in a Transit van collecting dining chairs and another *cough* Ford V8 (380 FE including autobox) *cough* and one day in the car taking the OH to her eye hospital appointment and looking at another MINI, then a packed weekend came..

..our dog suddenly becoming very lethargic and going off his food.

Trip to the vets to discover that his abdomen was one giant "mass".

We didn't get to bring him home  :'(

Heartbroken. The house is so quiet.

Sorry about Doggy Aaron what a handsome fella he was, facing the same in the next week or so I expect with our beloved pooch as her Lymphoma has come back and I can't sleep for the worry, she's still happy enough for the minute but once that changes ........ :(

Sorry to hear about your dog. The only consolation is it wasnt a drawn out affair.  I cannot imagine being without our dog.

Sorry to hear of your loss, they very quickly become "family" and have their own personalities. The last dog I had[before the one I've got now]was "just a mongrel" but she was as faithful as hell and although a year and a half old when I got her she lived a further 18yrs with me so had a good run,but when the time came I sat and cried my eyes out.

Poor woofy  :'(, but at least the suffering was minimal, but that doesn't help too much when you expect them to come bounding in the room.

Isn't it rather telling that in a threat about several disastrous events, all the replies were about the dog?
No surprise, though - we DO love them.

Ron.

P.S. I don't think that I could trust a man that didn't like dogs.
