I don't think it has that much to do with value or even taste. It's a shopping/eating habit that people have grown up with. I mentioned the other day that there were no heinz beans in Asda, so I bought cross and blackwell. No one noticed that I'd bought something different.

She's tried that in the past. I'm talking the likes of Cross and Blackwell, as obviously even the cat cat tell the difference with a Tesco Value bean.  She's yet to get one passed me

I don't ask for much, but when I have a bean, it has to be proper Beanz.  If its any other bean, I'll have peas instead. Birdseye, obviously.
