exhaust leak

i had a new cat put on the off-side of my 2.5 v6,and it never seems to be exhaust gas leak free,even got a genuine vaux gasket last month+ fitted for mot and was better,but guess what all raspy again from this joint,havent a clue now!! its the joint where the front pipe joins the manifold,no leaks before cat was fitted.

Thats what new cats sound like sadly, should have replaced with a genuine secondhand one. Which is going to be your only option if you want silent running again
