Looks like its about to butchered and most likely scrapped after they've done what they want for the sake of a shitty stunt.

Still have Y154 WCT and despite people hitting it with vectras and golfs it has been pretty good so far and is now into the 121 thousand mile mark. but I don't want to tempt fate regarding reliability so will now shut my mouth on that subject.

I've just checked my 71 and 76 avengers and they are both charged for Birmingham but not leeds?.

I disconnected the pump on my 2.5 estate as it was making a hell of a noise. and it never made a difference to the way it ran at all.

There's no charge for my car in Birmingham or leeds either.

SNAP, same colour as my elite.

Mine is the same too. it doesn't leak pools of oil like it used to but it does use more than it used to (especially on a long run obviously) and it does puff out some oil from the exhaust not to mention the clatter on startup which does quieten down thankfully but probably means the oilways need a good clearout before the engine eventually dies.

My tensioner completely seized up and started to shred the belt.. but I was lucky because I had just pulled up outside the house and noticed the god awful noise it was making and switched off quickly.

I don't suppose you have anymore heater hoses do you? as my top one has been leaking for months despite the trimming down and using a metal clip.

When I had problems with water coming in on the drivers side all I did was to squirt some WD40 down both drain tubes and that seemed to cure it which probably means it wasn't that badly blocked.

Although it came close twice.. the first was a mk2 escort which I saw the git opening and shouted at to clear off which he did. and the second was a mk3 Granada that I found out someone had tried to pinch the following day when I found the door unlocked and a ford key jammed in the lock.
