Has anyone had the pleasure of trying to change a DRL bulb on an astra j ,i tried briefly tonight but seems incredibly difficult.
Why when its obviously a bulb which will die has vauxhall made it so awkward and frustrating...................

I took mine to a local garage and he managed to do it with a combination of fiddling with a screwdriver and swearing.

Well, talk about making life difficult... ::)
Undo the jubilee clip, and pull the hose off. Then pop the complete airbox up and move it towards the engine. A pair of long nosed curved pliers would have saved him about 5 minutes fiddling with his fingers to get the bulb holder out too ;D

Looks jolly similar to changing the Omega side light bulb that I did last Sunday.

I have changed them a few times for people and don't recall them being overly difficult.

Never really had an problem with Omegas. If its the HID bulb, it does mean battery and airbox out though...

They really are making these bulbs hard to change on some models aren't they? please tell me i'm right ??? ???

Zafira Tourer is surprisingly easy, investigated due to how crap the bulbs are. Both main/side and DRL easy peasy.
Could swing a cat behind them lenses. :o

im glad they're not all bad Tunnie, just annoying they design them in such a bad way when they will obviously fail
