I've been on here for donkeys years but never put pictures of my work up because i'm a total retard on shit like this :-[
Do we have to use photo bucket on here or are they any other freebee sites OOFers use ?
I've resized the pictures already using picture manager so just need the hosting bit ::)
TIA
-
I'm no expert on this that's for sure, but Photobucket is not worth using now, even if you are prepared to pay for the privilege. The site, due to constant advert pop-ups is unusable.
Following the advice of another member I have now registered with the free hosting site Postimage and the rare times I have used it have found it very good ;)

What Lizzie says. 😉
-
Okay, i'll have a play but don't scream at me if I overload the OOF hamster ;D
-
Right, i've uploaded a bunch of pictures to the site.
Picked one then pressed the share button ................
I now have a list of 8 links ???
Which one do I copy and paste into the oof box ?

Thanks Lizzie :-*
The amount of times i've done work on the car and the lads have asked me to put pictures up or have been going to stick some pictures i've taken at air shows on here and gave it up as a bad job :-[ :-[
Normally, i've ended up emailing them to Kev ::) :-[

I use this one , had no problems with it ,

So do you re-size the photos prior to uploading them or prior to posting them?I must admit when I posted pictures of my Omega[well it was my granddaughter who did the honours as it's all beyond me]the pictures turned out tiny on here.

I stuck all of them in a separate folder on the desktop then highlighted each one, right clicked then opened with Microsoft Picture Manager and used the drop box to reduce down to a size the form couple handle without the OOF Hamster working too hard.
Its all in the guide to be fair ;)

I know the pictures are in a separate folder on the laptop-granddaughter did that bit too-what she did after that I haven't a clue all I did was put words to the post. When I read guides on such subjects my eyes just glaze over and everything goes over my head so I either give up and don't bother or hand it off to said granddaughter.

Site does not auto-size ..so what you put up gets shown, and is often very large. I resize all mine to 600 x 400 (pixels) using photoshop before sticking on the hosting site .. in my case I use dropbox. An example is ...

Microsoft Picture Manager
Is anyone still using a version of Office that old :o
Picture Manager was a crap application, but this one feature made it worthwhile. I miss it :(

Why would you subject a nice car to that sort of abuse, if it were a xxxxx it would be in care and the parent in prison.. :D

Whilst the Irmscher body kit is a vast improvement on the dull, dreary, boring lines of the FL Omega, the stuff really is shit.
For the price, you'd expect it to fit properly, and be of reasonable quality. Which it doesn't and it isn't.

One thing I miss in the Older Version of Office its the ability to compress all the Pictures within a Document with one click, whilst Cameras are become more Memory hungry, I could compress a Site Survey Doc with quiet a few Pics of around 15 MB down to less than a few hundred Kbs.
