Looked like a herald to me :y :y no def a spitfire.  :-[

Door is too rounded (2mins 12 secs) for a Herald .... bit rounded for a Spitty too  :-\

Yep, got to agree, it's an early spitfire, less curve than a later Spit, but more than a Herald, and with a wooden dash.......... :y :y

It is definitely a Mk II spitfire 1965 -1967 variety !! It's part of the BL stable (when they used to make a proper car). The grille is what gives it away, among other things  ::)

And I must say what a fantastic use of pictures, Thanks for sharing  :y

*and no I'm not 80*  :P

Nice video that, especially as he said it started out as reference pictures.  :y

I also believe it to be an early spitfire, judging by the separate bubble indicators.  :y

I agree with Nick.  ::)  The TR7 didn't have 7 cylinders either.  ;)

Although there may well have been 6 pot TR6's  :y
