Politicians  have been right royally f**king things up at No 10 for ages if that's who you mean  :P

Fixed that for you.
Boris is just one in a long line of inexperienced entitled idiots from both sides who wouldnt get a job running a small corner shop, but somehow mange to convince people they are capable of running a multi trillion pound organisation that is the UK.
Neither would any of them win at poker, without cheating.
My adult life, since 1985 has not seen much competence AND humanity from any of those in charge.

Lifted from another website......

All I hear is people say ‘remain positive’ the vaccine is here, a few more months and everything will be back to normal ... REALLY!!!?

So here’s a few questions to Governments we all should be asking if we get vaccinated.

1.- Can I stop wearing the mask? NO

2.- Can they reopen restaurants etc and everyone work normally? NO

3.- Will I be resistant to covid?
- Maybe, but we don't know exactly, it probably won't stop you getting it.

4.- At least I won't be contagious to others anymore? No, you can still pass it on, possibly, nobody knows.

5.- If we vaccinate all children, will school resume normally? NO

6.- If I am vaccinated, can I stop social distancing? NO

7.- If I am vaccinated, can I stop disinfecting my hands? NO

8.- If I vaccinate myself and my grandfather, can we hug each other?NO

9.- Will cinemas, theatres and stadiums be reopened thanks to vaccines? NO

10.- Will the vaccinated be able to gather? NO

11.- What is the real benefit of vaccination? The virus won't kill you.

12.- Are you sure it won't kill me? NO

13.- If statistically the virus didn't kill me anyway ... Why would I get vaccinated?" - To protect others.

14.- So if I get vaccinated, the others are 100% sure I'm not infecting them?NO

So the shot does not give immunity.
Does not eliminate the virus.
Does not prevent death.
Does not guarantee you won’t get it.
Does not prevent you from getting it.
Does not stop you passing it on
Does not eliminate the need for travel bans.
Does not eliminate the need for business closures.
Does not eliminate the need for lockdowns.
Does not eliminate the need for masking.
So, what the hell is it actually doing?

In the meantime ... 600,000 cancer referrals missed since March 2020. Heart disease kills 160,000 people a year in the UK alone, that’s 1 death every 3 minutes. Suicide is at a 20 year high, in the US it’s the highest since World War 2!!! 150,000,000 children globally pushed in to severe poverty due to lockdowns and 16,000 excess deaths linked to the lockdown.

Anyone who believes corrupt governments globally have our best interests at heart are being played on a massive scale but hey, if you feel safe getting an untested ‘long term effect’ vaccine then you go right ahead, that’s your choice.

On the flip side, those wishing to decline the vaccine and let their own immune system kick in with a 99.7%+ recovery rate against Covid then that should be their choice too.

Governments tactics of ‘Divide and Conquer’ are working a treat. They have mask wearers fighting against non mask wearers and those ‘pro vaccine’ fighting against those ‘pro choice’ all the while BIG PHARMA and politicians with vested interests get richer by the day whilst hard working businesses in Nerja,Spain whose livelihoods depend on tourism go under on a daily basis. Peoples anger should not be vented at each other but at governments globally for imposing these draconian measures.

A recent tweet on Twitter below sums it up perfectly

Covid is a true killer. So far it’s killed the flu, cancer, heart disease - it killed the ability to think, logic & common sense. It killed the economy, the working class, & millions of jobs. It killed millions of businesses, human connection, love and compassion."

Your does it/doesn't it list is applicable to most vaccines.

The Covid one is mendaciously being publicised as a quick, easy solution, when it is really a risk reduction measure. Single humans are poor at risk calculation, which is bad enough. But they're utterly terrible at it in groups. We're so bad at it, that many people can't accept that it's true.

Keep 2m apart is a useful rule, but calling it social distancing was a mistake: that is physical distancing, which is relatively easy to achieve. Social distancing is the stay at home and don't mix with anyone you don't have to, and is both an effective reduction and the cause of all the long term economic/personal/social problems.  In this instance, I would suggest that correlation is causation.

The way the government handles things has been a factor: unfounded jokey optimism(it'll be over be Christmas etc)which leads to continual policy U-turns. Their inability to make difficult choices in a worthwhile time. The lack of competent people working up through the Conservative party over the last 20 years, which has led to the inept, incompetent, arrogant chancers in the cabinet. The reliance on questionable 'experts', often working well outside their fields - Cummings was the ultimate example. Squandering of resources - trying to create a new World Beating Track&Trace System in no time flat, when most of what was needed has been available locally for decades. Not quarantining travellers, when Britain is an island

They are now starting to mumble about shutting borders (apart from Ireland of course) but dont seem to have the balls to do it.
Doesnt really matter, they should have done it a year ago.
I watched a programme on ITV about Covid the other night which covered the subject right from the start of the outbreak in China, to where we are now.
At the end it provided a couple of statistics that I could barely believe.
It said that Taiwan has had no lockdown but has had only 7 deaths from Covid. They saw what was happening in China early on and shut their borders straight away.

Or we could be planning on how to live with it, although I seem to be a lonely minority with this view...  :-\

This should have been started at the end of the original lockdown. But that would have required a plan, the will and competence to carry it out, and good communication to break through the previous scaremongering and bullshit.
All of which are still absent.
