I've bought another breaker, 03 dti estate with 73k on it, story was it was a perfect runner until they reversed off their drive then stalled it and it hasn't started since !
It'll spin over all day but not catch, they couldn't be bothered repairing or looking further into it. I'm 99% going to break it as it's a decent spec but I'm curious what the issue could be ?
I don't have one to hand but need to know the width from outer tyre edge to outer tyre edge as I'm looking at getting one transported and trailer width is marginal
One of my local yards had a 2.6 CD estate with only 46k on the clock, somehow it had come in via a DVLA clean up. I can only guess someone had died and it had been left on the street, every cloud though as a fair bit of it is sitting in my shed and another member has a nice new bonnet
Facelift estate load cover with the 2 plastic clips, in very good condition , £25 plus post, collection preferred as they are a pain in the proverbial to wrap

Colleague has been plagued with a cutting out issue with his 05 Astra 1.6 Petrol, his ECU has been condemned by a specialist. The question is what's needed to replace it, i.e a full ECU kit including instruments or can a second hand ECU unit be programmed? He has the car pass for it
I've seen it mentioned that you can tell the engine ECU which transmission it is attached to, is this just a simple task like a drop box change with a suitable tool ?
I need the small metal pin that goes connects the gear lever to the linkage and also the two clips that secure it, failing that the part numbers for the same please
Got a guy in touch with me via ebay ,I don't think he frequents here , he has a 2.2 pet in limp mode and is getting fault code for EGR and has tried 4 egr's without success, he reckons someone got the battery terminals wrong and it has caused this, question : is there any fuse or relay related to the EGR which may have blown ?
