Removed the radiator drain plug on the daily as it weeps when the car is cooling down, unfortunately only halve the plug came out. Tried to seal the remaining bit and screw it back in but pissing out as it cools down again.

Sure I have a spare used radiator in the shed at my dad's so you can guess next weekends job.  :D

Got told today that the F-Pace replacement has been sold!

Now I have to chose something and get a build to order vehicle then wait, the Velar is looking tempting.

That's an F-Pace in RR drag, isn't it?

Getting to leave it at home all week as 3rd person to our lift share is driving, means I could go "Full TB mode" on my return, as I've banked a lot of fuel.  ::)  ;D

2008 Ford Galaxy (built/designed by Ford from 2006 not VW/SEAT)

SWMBO refuses to drive a manual which severely restricts the choices unfortunately.

It is a 2.0 tdci 140 bhp with the 6 speed powershift gearbox (or powershit depending on your point of view).

Changing the gearbox fluid and filter will be one of my first tasks.

Snap on the Mrs driving Autos, but to be fair after a family day out an auto is nice.

All D7A platform, no bad thing as its means it keeps the excellent all round double wishbone setup, very different drive train on the Velar (permanent all wheel drive as opposed to the setup on the F-Pace).

Velar HSE ordered, god knows what the lead time is!
