I had the same setup, complete with Telematics (Phone) in my 1998 car, upgrading from a ccr600

If you're not using the Telematics, all loom mods can be done on a TM loom.  If using telematics, the wiring for that needs to be made up :(

You will need a Tech2 to reconfigure the CID for your car, else the Trip Computer will be wrong.

I do have the TM loom somewhere around, as the car was scrapped earlier this year, so can do pinout if required.

Thank you very much for the information. No tech2. but I am using "My Naff Code Reader".
If you have detailed photos, will you send me an e-mail?(naer8481@hotmail.com) color display, navigation, cd changer, ncdr 1500 and all sockets available. just which cable to connect to which cable? How will the CCR600 socket be fitted to the NCDR1500?
Thank you again.

"My Naff Code Reader" cannot change the config.

I'll dig out the TM loom, and look at pinouts over weekend

Display end, you need to connect Pins 1 and 32, if not diagnostics wont't work.  If you're using a CID, the RGB needs connecting in - I can look this up on TIS if required, as sadly when I scrapped the car, I had to cut the cable.

My mods to loom were done purely on a TrafficMaster extension loom so as not to butcher the car loom, and also because its easier.  Again, when car was scrapped, some bits had to be cut, including my Nokia and Telematics connections - if you're using these, we'll have to work through schematics a bit at a time.

Below are using GM pin numbering NOT the normal numbering from internet images.  So, with the spring loaded latches on the right, and the larger block at bottom, they number pin 1 is bottom right. Pin 4 is bottom left. Pin 13 is top right of middle block, ping 16 is top right of middle block.

Pin 17 is bottm left of top block. Pin 21 is bottom left of top block on the 26way connector, pin 23 is bottom left of 36way connector.

Pin 26 is top left of 26 way connector, pin 36 is top left of 36 way connector.
