Never had a problem with pattern cam cover gaskets , only
Gm stuff i buy is sensors .

I use them at times.it can all depend on what parts,when they're needed and available budget at the time.

I buy on price,  :),and also have not as yet had problems with them, I also buy quite a lot of parts from auto jumbles,.
Bought two genuine air filters today,.from a very nice man in the ABS parts shop,  8)

Genuine where the experience on here proves it's reliability V cost.

So non-genuine parts for me are ETS exhausts, wishbones, poly bushes, SKF cam and aux belt kits (so that includes the full tensioner, tensioner pulley and water pump).

I make do with cardboard cut-out of cornflake box cam cover gaskets  :D :D They leak but at least i can replace them every week fot pennies  ;D

I use genuine when it's advised but I'm happy to use patten parts like coil packs or filters ect.
