Washed the posh Vectra, well it seemed rude not to, as I'd just washed the company one first,  8)

Battery back on. Key turned in the ignition, and switched on, and started. Even the remote locking works :o

So not only back together, but also working. Need a decent code reader though as it seems to have a couple of codes... ESP and Brake Assist, but that said battery has been off it nearly a moth, and as it's currently Sorned, it probably needs a drive to recalibrate itself.

All in all, well chuffed though 8)

That's good work, Al. Firing up first time after major surgery shows a very good attention to detail and, of course, very good knowledge. Well done.

Yesterday, had new boots fitted on the Audi. Michelin Pilot Sport 4 S seem to be a big improvement over the factory fit Bridgestone Pretenders. Considering it runs on 20's I'm well happy with how it runs now, although the Bridgestones were down to about 3mm so that may account for the softer feeling ride.  :y

Yes, although that one is about £1,035 over priced, apparently has no MoT and has a third more miles... So yes, just like that one :D
