European elections
« on: 05 April 2019, 20:27:36 »

A couple of facts.

If The UK is still a member of the EU legally we would have to participate in the elections And elect 73 MEPs

It will cost Britain a paltry £108 million.

Would it be so bad? Assuming our elected MEPs could vote and play a part until Brexit happens or we all die of old age, it could be an opportunity to influence change. I suspect the so called populist parties will make big gains across Europe. Catalonia independence hasn't gone away just kicked down the road .

That hasn't worked so well in previous years, hence the referendum result ::)

I think its essential to vote this time and even more essential to vote for anyone but the big three parties, as they really need a good kicking from the electorate.
