New series tonight. Hope it lives up to it's billing.
-
Did they change the name from Shaft?
-
I shall watch it as soon as I can. Loved all the previous episodes however far fetched.
-
Agreed!
Although any police drama that stayed close to the facts would be dull indeed:
Luther Episode 1:
We join DI Luther mid way through a 4hr briefing on the correct use of gender-neutral racially appropriate pronouns when addressing suspects.....
Credits roll.
-
Hmmm....I'll reserve judgement.
-
Idris Elba = annoying prick. :). Can you tell that i,m bored while SWMBO is in hospital? ;D

Have a piss up and get some girls round, Ron, it'll probably be your last chance ;D
-
Forgotten how to do it. ;D

Must say I agree with that. Can’t stand the self righteous idiot.
-
Watched part of it last time but just too ridiculous.

.
It was even worse this time , just got downright silly, lost interest in it completely.
-
Oh, watched first episode last night. Still a fan. :y

Luther is a bit of a 'bent cop'. He seems to have conveniently overlooked the fact that the 'bunny boiler' he fancies stuck a large pin through the brain of the kid sleeping in the bed. ::)
-
Well there won't be another series, not after the conclusion of that one.

Are Luther, Idris Elba and Richard Roundtree one and the same person? ::)

Yeah. Plus Eddie Murphy and Al Jolson.

......correct me if I'm wrong but didn't he also play Huggy Bear in Starsky and Hutch? ::)

Steady on, next you will be saying all Chinese look the same.
Are the Luther haters watching Tin Star? I like Tim Roth dramas. He is usually covered in blood. Cue the Tim Roth vitriol. ;D
-
Tin Star looks good, but I refuse to top up Tunnies pension, so shall wait for it on Netflix ;D
-
It is on Channel4 every Sunday at around 11 p.m. so presumably you can use the internet catch up .

Surprisingly hadn’t seen this. Watched last series and loved it.
Now just starting series three. Surprised no one mentioned there was an omega plod car in the last episode of the second series 😄😄😄
-
No point apart from yourself, only other forum member to watch it was myself.

I watched em all after being recommended here at the OOF
I liked the program :y
as far as omega in an episode as a plod car ,surely the plod stopped using them 12 years ago ,so not an accurate representation of modern policing :P
-
Must be fake news, if we see them on TV still in use it must be true.
-
Lol it’s funny coz the following episode had an insignia (or similar) as the plod car 😂😂😂 what they could hire from vauxhall fest I suppose 😂😂😂
-
He’s still a cock!
