« on: 18 March 2012, 12:25:57 »
Rob, I have all the screws out, and the cluster seems loose, but will not come out!

Is there something else that needs releasing, or should it just pop out??? ???

Right! You live and learn. Pulled headlamp switch out, and yes got interior light! :y

It is the map lights that are not working.

So why would that be?

Hi guys, my interior light works when the door is opened.

But does not work on either of the switches by the light!

Any ideas where to start looking please??

Omega General Help / Re: Cam cover gaskets - problems!!
« on: 26 December 2011, 13:33:42 »
Well, touch wood, no leaks.

But engine management light on. I didnt disconnect the battery, so error on every sensor that was unplugged!!

Now reset.

Just temperature gauge problem so the damn inlet manifold will have to come off again.

I can see why these cars are so popular now. But only with those people that like working on them, not using them! :y :y

Where is the temperature gauge sender on the 2.5 petrol V6?

I have just done cam cover gaskets, and obviously dislodged a connector, as I now have no gauge. Heater is hot though.

Gareth, good luck with this little job.

Passenger side is a total nightmare!

When you order the seals, check on the 90501652. I have a 2.5, and I cannot find where these go. Maybe 3.0??? At £14 each they are a bit expensive to have on the shelf!!
